We've expanded the virtual care experience on our SydneySM Health app to now include access to primary care. We’re making it easier and more affordable for your self-funded and balance-funded clients and their employees to focus on overall healthcare.
Members can schedule a virtual primary care appointment at a convenient time for them. Each visit or chat with a virtual care doctor is available at low or no cost to members. Which may include:
- Preventive care and recommended lab tests with an annual preventive wellness visit coming on September 1, 2022.
- Unique care plans for overall health and for chronic conditions, such as diabetes.
- New prescriptions and referrals (Prescription availability defined by physician judgment)
Plus, the doctor can see their virtual care history and will follow up to see how they're doing after the chat or visit. The success of reimagined healthcare can lower costs and improve health. Some of those statistics are:
- 86% of consumers who use virtual care love it. *
- 50% of consumers said they will use virtual care more than before. *
There are now more convenient ways to receive primary, preventive, and urgent care through our Sydney Health app.
