Life insurance is a key part of an employee's overall financial wellness

Large Group, Small Group | NY-DOWNSTATE, NY-UPSTATE

Anthem Life is participating in the year-long Help Protect Our Families campaign to tell consumers about the need for life insurance. The Life Insurance Marketing and Research Association (LIMRA) and six other trade associations are sponsoring this campaign to help educate the estimated 60 million Americans who are underinsured or have none at all.

If you are an upstate NY Broker, you can share our monthly infographic to tell clients about the importance of life insurance.  Downstate NY Brokers can share this monthly infographic with clients.

According to the latest LIMRA research:

  • Only 54% of Americans have any life insurance coverage, down from 63% a decade ago.
  • 44% of families say they would face financial hardship if the primary wage earner died within 6 months. For 28%, it would be within just one month.
  • Six in 10 Americans say they have a heightened awareness of the importance of life insurance because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • 78% of Americans agree that financially preparing for life’s unknowns is a way to show your loved ones you care about them.
