Members 18 to 64 years old can now schedule virtual annual preventive care (wellness) visits through the SydneySM Health mobile app.
Patients attend virtual annual wellness visits through video with secure medical text chat and follow-up communication. The visits provide a comprehensive health review along with age-appropriate screening recommendations, preventive labs, and overall health risk assessment. The provider works with the employee to make sure that their weight, blood pressure, and pulse are checked and documented properly. Employees can ask additional questions about the visit for seven days after the original visit without additional charges.
The virtual annual wellness visit can help clients reduce costs and offer their employees a convenient way to take care of their preventive care needs. And it counts as an employee’s annual wellness visit for preventive care incentive programs. Members can select “Check-ups and Ongoing Care” from the Sydney Health app to get started.
Here is our newest virtual care guide to share with your Large Group ASO clients.
