EBPA partnering with Anthem as third-party administrator in Connecticut

Employee Benefit Plan Administration (EBPA) is now partnering with Anthem as a third-party administrator (TPA) in Connecticut. Founded in 1963, EBPA will provide a competitively priced option for the 100 - 1000 market.

As a TPA, they will provide enrollment, billing, and member support as an alternative to a traditional carrier-client relationship. TPAs allow clients greater flexibility and creativity when designing their benefit plans. Employers can customize their benefit programs and apply their benefit dollars as choose.

Clients who choose EBPA will receive:

  • ID cards with the Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield logo
  • Access to the National BlueCard Provider Network.
  • Full data and analytics reporting for both clients and brokers via Cedargate (aka Deerwalk).
  • 100% of available Rx rebates.
  • The flexibility to use other stop loss carriers. Anthem is the preferred carrier.
  • The flexibility to use other pharmacy vendors. IngenioRx is the preferred vendor.
