Maria Proulx has been named president of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in New Hampshire and will assume her new role March 14.
She is currently regional vice president of sales for the New Hampshire plan, where she has led growth and retention efforts across Anthem’s Large Group, Small Group, and Individual business lines for the last three years.
Proulx also held several leadership positions at Anthem, including vice president of segment solutions. She has also worked on the provider, legal, and compliance teams in New Hampshire. Before joining Anthem, she practiced law at Orr & Reno, PA in Concord. She was born and raised in Dover.
Proulx succeeds Lisa Guertin, who is retiring from Anthem after 32 years with the company.
