We’ll send the annual MLR survey to employers soon

Anthem pays annual rebates to Fully Insured groups when their medical loss ratio (MLR) is less than 85% for Large Groups or 80% for Small Groups and Individuals. Each year, we contact impacted groups to verify group size. We use the information to distribute rebates to the correct groups.  This year, we will ask for 2023 group size for distribution of MLR rebates in 2025.

We’ll start emailing the surveys to qualifying Small and Large Group clients soon. We will send follow-up emails if we don’t receive a response to the initial email. We’ll use current membership numbers for groups that don’t respond. We won’t contact clients if we already have the information we need.
