Individual & Family members say Paytient makes paying out-of-pocket healthcare costs less stressful

Individual | MO

Over 3,600 Anthem Individual & Family members signed up for Paytient since 2023 to pay for care they may not have been able to obtain otherwise.

The Paytient Health Payment Account1 offers Individual and Family members an easier way to pay for out-of-pocket healthcare costs. It makes those costs more manageable by allowing members to pay over time, with no interest, fees, or credit checks. With the Paytient card, members can be more proactive about their health and avoid delaying care because of the costs.

63% percent of recently surveyed Anthem members said Paytient made paying for healthcare less stressful.

Members have told us that it is easy to set up their account, the website is simple to navigate, and the card can be used for medical costs the same day they sign up for the program. And it helps them pay for copays and prescriptions that can be costly at times.

Paytient members save with interest-free payment options:

  • Spending limit of $2,000 with a covered spouse or dependent and $1,000 for individual policyholders2
  • No credit check or impact to credit score2
  • No interest or fees
  • Custom payment plans

Remind your Anthem clients that they can use Paytient the day their account has been activated.  It’s a great way to help them get the care they need while improving their financial health.

1 The Paytient card is a line of credit that is subject to approval. All charges made to the Paytient card must be repaid according to the terms outlined in the cardholder agreement. The Paytient card works with providers in approved merchant categories. The provider self-selects their merchant category, and in some cases, might not be categorized as expected. Please note: the Paytient card cannot be used to pay health insurance premiums.

2 Paytient is required to confirm that eligible members are able to afford their Paytient monthly minimum payments, and Paytient does this by comparing income to expenses during application. This is not a credit check and will not affect credit score.
