Dare to Care Food Bank and the Anthem Foundation are extending the Dollars for Doers Challenge through March. The challenge aims to fill a growing gap in volunteers and dollars needed to feed those facing food insecurity in Kentuckiana. Hunger and food insecurity are reaching staggering heights in the wake of COVID-19. One in seven people in Kentuckiana worries about having enough food to put on the table, according to Dare to Care. We invite you to take part and share this information with your clients as Anthem supports the community.
The Dollars for Doers Challenge covers the entire 13-county region. We will donate $10 for every hour volunteered at Dare to Care through March 31, 2021. A family of four can generate $120 in matching funds through a three-hour volunteer shift.
